After the Storm

A celebration of renewal, using RBGE timber windblown during Cyclone Andrea in 2012. Highlighting the beauty of RBGE-grown timber and craftsmanship amongst our Scottish Furniture Makers, this exhibition focuses on the restorative and rejuvenating effects of storms and trauma upon the natural and human environment.

12 members of SFMA have been selected by an external panel to make speculative pieces for the exhibition, from their excellent interpretations of the exhibition theme.

The MS Society have sponsored a bench for the community garden which will be installed as part of the After the Storm project during the period of the exhibition.
